In the New Project dialog, select React Native in the left-hand pane. Select File | New | Project from the main menu or click the New Project button on the Welcome screen. The recommended way to create a React Native application in IntelliJ IDEA is to use a dedicated project generator, for example, the React Native CLI. Press Ctrl+Alt+S to open the IDE settings and select Plugins.

Make sure the JavaScript and TypeScript plugin is enabled in the settings. Make sure you have Node.js on your computer. IntelliJ IDEA also provides code completion for React and Flow symbols. IntelliJ IDEA helps you create, edit, lint, run, debug, and maintain your React Native applications.
